SONG OF SONGS: My “signature piece” before I’m Your Man was choreographed as a filler for my ice show production HARD EDGE.

The laid-back sensibility was part of what made it special. It was the result of a practical consideration. I wanted a long piece that was not overly exhausting. As it turns out, I was able to drain as much energy as I felt like skating the piece. It came at the end of a four-part suite, all skated to music by Kenny Davern and Bob Wilbur from the album Soprano Summit.
